Reproduction World War II Medal Clasps
It was decided that the maximum number of stars that could be earned by any one person was five, while those who qualified for more received a clasp of the appropriate star. Only one clasp per ribbon was permitted which was the first to be earned after qualifying for that star. Thus the stars could bear the following clasps:
Clasp | Star (Sold Separately) |
---|---|
Battle of Britain Clasp | 1939-1945 Star |
Atlantic Clasp | Air Crew Europe Star or France and Germany Star |
Air Crew Europe Clasp | Atlantic Star or France and Germany Star |
8th Army Clasp | Africa Star |
Pacific Clasp | Burma Star |
Burma Clasp | Pacific Star |
France and Germany Clasp | Atlantic Star and Air Crew Europe Star |
Each clasp slides over the ribbon and is therefore easy to add and remove. No ribbon is supplied with clasps.
